CURRENT PROJECT
Provision of good and clean water through investing in a bore hole that provides a regular daily supply of water for our elderly usage. This is a project we are passionate about because it will help to prevent a lot of water-borne diseases for our elderly.
Building of a built for purpose home that cares mainly for our elderly where they can call a home and feel safe.
This purpose built home will contain facilities that provide them with the following:
1. Ensuite facilties
2. Dinning area
3. Cooking area
4. Lounges
5. Bedrooms
6. Laundry room
7. Guest Facilities
8. Games room
9. Hairdressing room
10. Staff room
11. Quiet room
12. Administrative office
13. Dr's consulting room
14. Pharmacy
The main focus of the built for purpose facility is to have a place where our elderly can have a total peace of mind such as:
1. Feel safe
2. Feel respected
3. Feel safeguarded
4. Feel love
5. Where their dignity is protected and maintained
6. Feel cared for
7. Have a say and autonomy to govern the care they are receiving
8. Feel valued and not treated like a commodity
9. Have adequate and robust access to various specialists and multidisciplinary team in their old age
10. Where their care is planned and all various needs identified
11. All risks are assessed, and steps taken to prevent any further complications
12. A home where trust is built and not betrayed
FUTURE PROJECTS
1. Building of a place of worship where our elderly can pursue their spirituality without any discremination
irrespective of their belifs or faith.
2. Training of all staff members focusing on care of the elderly and preventing, identifying abuse in our society.
3. Organising seminars in varous states and cities, creating awareness on the care of the elderly.
